About

santander logoSantander Universities began its activity in Spain in 1997 with one main objective: to support higher education.  Throughout all these years they have donated over £500 million in the shape of scholarships, travel grants, support to special projects, academic and non-academic awards.

In the UK the first partner joined the network in 2007 and since then many universities have become partners of Santander Universities.  They fund awards to outstanding students and projects, help entrepreneurs, and give the students the possibility to travel abroad to continue their studies.

It is a global network, which exists to help provide students with the support they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.  In addition to the UK, Santander Universities has more than 1,100 cooperation agreements with universities across the globe for a full list of partner institutions click here.
